Rift Desktop / Planned product
A clearer view ofthe work behind the code.
Rift Desktop is a planned visual way to explore the local Rift record. The foundation today is Rift Code and its Canopy terminal dashboard.
FUTURE SAMPLE / Q3-board-report.docx
Illustrative concept; office-document capture is not available today.
01 / The foundation
Evidence first. Interface second.
The local tool records supported AI coding sessions in an append-only, tamper-evident history. Desktop is planned around that record, rather than a new claim about what an assistant did.
02 / The view
Make the trail easier to follow.
We want a visual workspace where people can move from a code change to its captured session, checkpoint, and context state. The exact interface and availability are still being shaped.
Planned information architecture, not a product screenshot
Example / Future concept
One document. A visible chain of work.
An illustrative look at how a document’s AI and human contributions could be explored in a future Desktop product.

A future view, grounded in present facts.
Rift Desktop is not a shipped web dashboard or a connector for office documents. The local CLI and Canopy are the current ways to work with the record. We are talking with teams about which visual workflows would matter most.
